Joomla 1.0.13 page - problems on localhost

Hello,

I got a webpage that was published somewhere on a remote server. Page itself is made in Joomla 1.0.13. I am trying to load page locally on an older XAMPP for Windows 1.6.8 (on newer xampp editions page is not working and that is reasonable).

When opening a page locally, I see only contents without images and styling. I noticed some errors in browser console (not found 404). Looks like urls to some of the files are not valid. Examples:

1.1) Should be http://localhost/page/images/image.png
1.2) It is http://urltoremotepage/images/image.png

2.1) Should be http://localhost/page/templates/univers ... te_css.css
2.2) It is http://urltoremotepage/templates/univer ... te_css.css

...

The files are present locally but references are pointing to an older remote url. How do I fix this? Thanks!

In the file configuration.php that is in the directory where Joomla! is installed, check what value is there for the variable $mosConfig_live_site
