Component in mosMainBody() or in Module

Hello everyone
I'm working on a software website I got a docman component already
and I wanted to show component in the area that appear in a place of main body
I got an extention that place a component in a module appear in any place using iframe Undecided
it worked but after I press any button in the homepage of the component i got the link open in the iframe not in the parent page
it will not work with me like that  Cry
so I'm searching for another extention , code or template code to show the docman component in the place of the Mainbody

and if anyone got some way to redirect the index.php to the component Url that will work with me untill I found the above solution Wink
anyway I'm a little bit new in joomla but I'm good in html language and sort of php who can I help myself anyway  Sad

please suggest

Hi,

a frontpage is just a concept and you're not restricted to use the frontpage component for "the" frontpage. Any component will do.
In 1.0 whatever is assigned to the "Home" menu item, or in fact the first link in mainmenu will become the Frontpage.
In 1.5 you can make any menu item "the" frontpage / home.
You can still put modules on this page, but a "blog view" of news, or similar outlines provided by the regular frontpage, won't be available.
