Help on Section, Categories and Menu for an automotive site

there is not rocket science involved in it, I think you should plan a navigation in your mind or paper first than study joomla to place articles in categories, all are in tips......

Joomla does not allow nesting section under section by default. There are some other components which can help to do that, available in Extensions. For vehicles you can create each category for each vehicle type.

Joomla has Sections, Categories and pagesso You can have one or more Toyota vehicles (Pages) under a category called Toyota (Category) and one or more different Vehicle categories under a section called Vehicles (Section). Then in Menus depending on if you using J! 1.5 or J! 1.0 you can create different menus for whole section or for each page directly.

By the way Drupal offers better management of content and users by default.
