Installing Joomla at GoDaddy Root With Existing Site

Post by ucfalumniadmin » Wed Jan 05, 2011 6:59 pm

I have a one page front-end in a GoDaddy shared environment - but I need to install joomla at the root for various reasons. I already renamed the homepage to default.html so it displays first in the hierarchy before index.php.

Other than existing images folder and tmp folder - is there any reason that a fresh install into the GoDaddy root wouldn't work smoothly? (I'll reload the existing images files after the clean install is complete)

Thanks for your insight.
