Module / Component / Plugin Skeleton?

Is there a skeleton version of a Joomla! 1.5 beta module / component / plugin or someplace I can read on how to start making one from scratch? I am currently reworking a module I originally did for PHPnuke ages ago to both Drupal 5 beta 2 and the new Joomla! 1.5 beta. I am trying to determine which one is easier to code in and offers me the most flexibility. Its usually easier for me to start coding a module from a barebones skeleton, and I think Joomla! 1.0.x had such a thing.
