Joomla 1.5 no longer compatible with SMF Bridge

I get SQL errors with I try to install the SMF bridge (although I have the right versions).  At first it is an SQL error, but I managed to fix that myself.  Everything else - and there is a lot - seem to be a mismatch in php coding.

Help?

whats the error? you need to copy and paste the exact error message.
