[FIXED] problems with newsflash

I upgraded recently from Mambo 4.5.3h to joomla 1.0.8.

i tryed to add new newsflash and in control panel i see its added published and public but on main page i cannot see it.
In mysql i see that newsflash but its invisible on main page.
If i want to have new newsflash on main page only way it to edit old one and publish it.

Please help

Attached is a slightly modified version of the one that will be part of 1.0.9

The problem is due to an incorrect time check.



Unzip file and transfer the file and overwrite the one on your server:
/modules/mod_newsflash.php

That module doesnt work after i install it doesnt list any newsflashes.

You also need to ensure that the Sections & Categories of the content items are published.

Also you need to check whether you content items are `published` or have been set to `publish pending`

You're a star - I've been having exactly the same problem as everyone else - that revised version of mod_newsflash.php works perfectly.
