[NOT BUG] v1.0.9 Print button - XHTML incompatible

Post by diri » Wed Jun 07, 2006 5:22 pm

Hi,

there's "default" problem with ampersands. Parameters in link for popup window are not delimited with '&' but '&'.

Hi Diri,

Can you please provide more detail.

I cannot see the issue on two sites I have checked.

I am looking at the print button links. Here is the code from the demo.joomla site

Code: Select all

<td align="right" width="100%" class="buttonheading">
					<a href="http://demo.joomla.org/index2.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=10&pop=1&page=0&Itemid=9" target="_blank" onclick="window.open('http://demo.joomla.org/index2.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=10&pop=1&page=0&Itemid=9','win2','status=no,toolbar=no,scrollbars=yes,titlebar=no,menubar=no,resizable=yes,width=640,height=480,directories=no,location=no'); return false;" title="Print">
						<img src="http://demo.joomla.org/templates/rhuk_solarflare_ii/images/printButton.png" align="middle" alt="Print" name="Print"  border="0" /></a>
can you please provide a link to an example (perhaps on the joomla demo site) or give clear steps how we can recreate this issue.

Thanks
Do you want the answer to be as vague as your question?

Hi Toubkal,

I'm not sure where it happened ... I tested one of my local development pages and got this error. It is possible to be caused by an "external" component. I fixed a lot in this relation last night (accessibility is a real pain in the with v1.0.*) and the error might be gone.

The real problem with joomla.php is already discussed and I hope there will be an improvement.

Thanks for your efforts!
