Can this be found in the manual?

Hi,

With regards to http://forum.joomla.org/index.php/topic,165573.0.html, is that feature known, and can it be found in the manual somewhere? Just out of curiosity.

at the bottom

Type: mod_online

The  Users Online icon is also located in the Information Bar as above. It displays the total number of Users connected to the Front-end of the web site at that time (at least a close indication!). It will not include Super Administrators connected to the Back-end.

Thanks Slixter,

Robin, I added it to the Help Screens which to be honest are more complete than the User Manual.

I do recall there have been some past issues with "ghost" users being recorded by this module, I can't recall any particular solutions to it tho'.
