Am I missing something or is the text misplaced?

I am a fairly new joomla user trying to figure out how to get my syndication RSS news feed working. I followed the instructions down to what is posted below which does not seem to apply to the screen I am seeing in Joomla 1.0.11. Is this misplaced text on the page or am I missing something in my Joomla 1.0.11 admin panel?

Is it possible to add some other tips for when it is not working? I am still getting errors and the syndication is not working.

Thanks for the user manual and admin manual. I am hoping I will be able to figure things out a little better using them.
