How to report spammers found in JoomlaCode forums?

How do we report spam links posted in JoomlaCode project forums?
How do we report a spammer to get them banned from JoomlaCode?

I realize the project sponsors should be watching and managing their project forums and trackers themselves, but when they are not watching the spammers are able to post spam links.

Example:
This post looks like a friendly "we love and use this component on our website" type post.
http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/sermon ... d_id=10906

Actually the website link posted has nothing to do with this component and is nothing more than a drug sales promotion spam link.

Here is the spammer's user page on JoomlaCode.
http://joomlacode.org/gf/user/rgoins/

My apologies if there is a reporting system in place that I simply have not found.
This is the first time I have encountered spam in JoomlaCode.
Please advise on how to best handle this type of situation in the future.

Thanks.

KM

It looks like the alleged spammer may be a victim himself.

I took a look here in the forum to see if he has been posting here too.
Found only one post:

When I login to the adminisrtrator page I see the Joomla header but there is no menu, control panel, etc. I have set php to display errors but I get no errors.

Last week someone supposedly hacked into the site and installed some malicious code which placed a pop-up on my home page. My host (hostmonster) removed the malicious code but every since then I have not been able to access the administratior site.
But my other questions regarding a reporting mechanism still apply.
And the link should still be removed from JoomlaCode.

I have a delete button. Ken, do you own any project on JoomlaCode? Do you have access to delete posts in your own forums? Being an admin, I always have a delete button next to "Quote", "Reply", and "Edit". I believe that the posted intended to showcase the use of the extension. However, as you stated, the site is to sell pills. I am guessing that is part of their hacked site. Anyway, instead of deleting it, I just removed the link. If the authors of the extension wish to have it removed, then can contact me or attempt to remove it themselves.

Please let me know about my question concerning if you see a delete button next to posts in your projects (assuming that you use the forum feature).

Thanks Ken... it's been a while... good to see you around!

That is not my JoomlaCode project so I do not have any edit abilities in that forum.
Thanks for removing the link.

It appears the original poster may just be an innocent website hacking victim.
And it appears he still has not gotten his site back in working order.

I think all community members should act against spam. Not only the mods. I don't know how does it work in joomlacode.org as I'm still learning about it, but as a member of joomla.org forum the reporting button works magic against spammers. It is not difficult to spot them after all; one member out of the 1000's will definitly do
