Re: Blank index, admin works though
When I clicked on the link, I got the "install" page to start a Joomla 1.5 installation.
Did you install in a subdirectory?

Further...
Did you delete or rename the "installation" directory when completed???
That is necessary.

Re: Blank index, admin works though
IT's like that cuz I tried reinstall, but I just deleted everything. I tried the install with the exact settings, works fine on my local apache, but when I try install on the site it says global registering is on, if it's on is that what's screwing it up? And how do I turn it off?

Re: Blank index, admin works though
I have the same problem.
My site is http://demo.phpnuke.ee/joomla15
At the same server Joomla 1.0 works fine and also previous versions of Joomla 1.5 works. But now is only blank page and I can't find information, what is wrong.

I think that you have to add /index.php when 1.5b is in a subdirectory and not at the root level. For some reason, when installed in a subdirectory, the default or index page call isn't loaded...you have to specify it re: ../index.php.

How?
I need to configuration file add the index file location?
index.php file is located in this subdirectory and in configuration file also is right location.
