How to add Meta Title and Meta Descripition in Joomla

I am a SEO person.
Idon't know about coding and all. I just want to know hot to add Meta Title and Meta Descripition in Joomla to make the site seo-friendly.

What version of Joomla! are you using?

The meta information could be entered in multiple places such as Global Configuration, menu items, and in individual articles.

Suggest looking into those areas.

I notice that you have already entered information in the Meta Description.

login to administrator -> Content -> Article Manager -> click on title of the page where you want to add meta tags -> click on Meta data information. From here you can put all the meta tags.

Same here I am in similar scenario, I too not knowledge in Coding, however I have to handle the SEO onpage. The website has a CMS system and is Joomla based, to be frank I would have preferred the much more easier Wordpress (although I know Joomla too is good and is more secure).

The website I am handling is a Corporate website and has huge number of pages, I just joined the firm, and I found out there is no use of Unique Meta Data in the website, I wanna know how to achieve it. As suggested by CBIL360 it is possible to add meta description and keywords for individual pages (articles), but there seems to know option to change Titles. Please help me out, but in a layman's term so that I can understand and get it done.
