Something of interest I saw in the Mosets forum. I think this is good news.

RE Mosets stance on Joomla! GPL license

Post by tjay » Thu Jul 26, 2007 1:39 am

Yes indeed, now that is what we need more of.
It is my belief that we will see more and more of the rational developers spending their energy finding solutions rather than continuing the rhetoric over the issue.

GPL is GPL and you will see talented business owners and developers find a way to work with Joomla 1.5.
This reminds me a lot of the Mambo days when the code base broke all the extensions. The world was ending all around us. Still today we are here making websites and finding a way.
This day it is my wish that I helped you to live

My thoughts are on the same channel as yours.

I hope other commercial 3PDs read Mosets' thread and try and find a solution instead of all the critics, jumping the gun and running away.

We use Mosets quite a bit and I for one am very happy they're sticking with Joomla! and hope to see them in 1.5.
