Can't Find Menu Items In Joomla Backend, menu items in Joomla backend missing

I have a Joomla site. The current version displays Joomla 1.5.9
Recently I needed to add a new menu item, so I went and checked the menu manager. But all I can see is a list of menus. And menu items list is blank. However the website works fine.

Anything i am missing or doing wrong?

Please Guide.

You should inquire at the Joomla 1.5 forum and even search that forum for possible solutions.
