Get rid of article ratings

Guys, help me please. All of the articles has rating voting system, which I do not want to be displayed and used. In each article parameter Article Rating is set to USE GLOBAL. In Article Manager -> Parameters -> Article Rating/Voting is set to HIDE. Why ratings are still available for all the articles then? How can I disable them all?

Good Point. The behavior could be due the site template used. What template is being used for the site?

You could try to use Protostar as the default site template and check whether the same behavior is exhibited.

Another thing you could try is to disable the plugin "Content - Vote" in the screen Plugins (Extensions => Plugins).
