Admin username and password

HI,
I am new to Joomla and I have installed my wamp on my windows 7 machine also my Joomla installation was also a success but whenever i import the exercise file 02_04 into my data base, i cant enter my administrative template as it will not log onto my username and password.it say unknown username and password.
Please help me.

You created this topic in the forum for Joomla 1.5, which had its End of Life in 2012. Which version of Joomla did you install?

Which exercise file did you import? Please provide a link to the page from where the file was downloaded.

If the Admin password is the problem you can reset it via the methods below:

Sorry but that is not a link to a web page from where you downloaded the .sql file.

A word of advice: rather than studying a version of Joomla that became obsolete 8 years ago, use your favourite search engine and you will find plenty of tutorials and even videos about the current version of Joomla, 3.9.x.

On the other hand, if you are learning Joomla in order to migrate an old website to the current, supported version, post your questions to the Migrating and Upgrading to Joomla! 3.x forum and you may receive relevant advice.

Thank you Sir. I brought the tutorial cd that contain the sql file. I did not download it,

None the less you're learning a version of joomla that is no longer supported.

Download and use 3.9.x (https://downloads.joomla.org) and refer to https://docs.joomla.org for help on using it.
