configuration.php query

Post by bigblue » Mon Jul 30, 2007 1:14 pm

Installing 1.5 locally on Mac OSX 10.4

On the pre-installation check everything looks good, apart from the last configuration.php Writable is showing as 'No'

I can't seem to find a configuration.php file anywhere in the directories in order to change the permissions - the only file I can see is confiuration.php-dist and this has read and write access set.

Any ideas anyone on how to resolve this?

Cheers

Your correct, there is noconfiguration.php in the release...

Create an empty file called configuration.php and set it to writeable (make owner your apache account if you can.)
Then run the installer and you won't get that error.

It says unwriteable but the only reason it is unwriteable is because it isn't there.
