Whether your site is Localhost – What package you are using XAMPP, WAMP for example. Remote Host – shared host or dedicated server, Windows or Linux Server
System Information: PHP, Apache/IIS, MySQL and version numbers for each (very important!)
What is your your OS: Windows XP/Vista/Windows 7/Windows 2003 Server, Linux +distribution name, Mac OSX
Complete the Forum Post Assistant to provide full details of your installation
What the problem is in detail: What you were trying to do, what the errors were, what did happen for example.
What you have tried to solve the issue: Different data input you have tried, changing settings,
What searches you have done/information that may be related:
Add screenshots to the post: A picture is often better than a thousand words! Click on Additional Options bottom left of the editor screen when adding a post and add the images from there rather than inserting a link to a picture.
Avoid posting site links to your own web site: (Unless specifically requested to do so)
If an existing installation - What Extensions have been added
If using Extensions are these 1.0/1.5 Legacy Mode (and has the Legacy Plugin been enabled)
Is .htaccess file in use? :
What settings are currently set and have been changed in the configuration.php/Global Configuration?:
Add anything else of relevance:
Change the Message Icon: Once you (hopefully) get the answer to your query always Modify your original post and change the message icon to Solved
