Changing from HTML to Plain Text

Post by MsALBlair » Sat Apr 12, 2014 12:52 am

I logged in to the backend of my site to edit it. It once looked like a word document & I could edit it. Now, it is all in HTML. I am not a web designer and have no clue what to do with HTML. I had to make a call to find out that it was called HTML. How do I change the HTML back to plain text where I can edit it?

Thanks for any and all help!

Toggle the editor into html mode.
Paste in the html code.
Toggle the editor back to wisywig mode

In your user settings, under the User Manager, make sure you have an Editor selected, if you have no editor selected you will only see html code when you try to edit something. If you have an editor selected then look for the html button in the editor and click it to return to the WYSIWYG view as Per Yngve Berg has stated.
