Sub Domain or Sub Directory

Hi,

I am having the main site and also working fine.
Now, I want to make a career page on my site. I have research lot of site and SEO related queries whether Sub Domain or Sub Directory is best way.

Then finally I take decision to use Sub Directory. like www.example.com/career

Now my question is I want to maintain the separate Joomla pack and DB for my sub directory.

Is this possible to install the Joomla pack inside the main directory of my website.

Yes - you can do that. Just make sure that you keep both sites up-to-date because if one of them is hacked, it'll infect the other.
