2 issues: download joomla 1.5 package + MySQL DB question

Hello,
1. We have been victims of hackers on our Joomla 1.5 + virtuemart 1.1 website.
I have the database backup which is clean, and the whole website backup too. I want to install the latest version of joomla, but before doing so (which is going to take a long time), I want to reinstall joomla 1.5 with virtuemart 1.1 in order for our database to work and clients can order. Where can I download these old versions?
2. Also: would the J1.5 MySQL database work in the latest joomla /virtuemart?
3. What is most important to us is to retrieve the whole list of users of our website: is there any easy way to do this besides installing the whole site exactly the same again?
