1.5.23 to 3.4

My client’s website is run by Joomla 1.5.23
Her original webmaster is out of the country and we cannot locate his password.
I can get into the site as administrator but not as super administrator. Do I need that password to upgrade to Joomla 3.4?

Or if you just want to find a way to login, you could reset the password using PHPMyAdmin: http://www.joomla-shark.com/joomla-tuto ... sword.html
