FTP Ghost in my Config File?

Post by MissVicky » Sat Oct 13, 2007 8:32 pm

New Fresh Install Joomla 1.5 w/No Modifications...

Setting up a secure environment, I edited my configuration.php (Example):

and moved my original out of the public html to a sub directory where the new one would be calling for it. No errors to report and no obvious problems...

HOWEVER! Anytime that the site is initialized the original config file mysteriously reaappears in my public html

:'(  So, I have determined that I have an FTP Ghost in my Config File.

Can someone please prove me wrong and tell me that I simply missed a step or did something wrong, my mind is boggled on this one.

Thank You In Advance
Miss Vicky

You should not have a leading slash in your path.

'/../joomla.conf'

Rather

'../joomla.conf'
