Menu/Page Level Security

Post by leosunny » Tue Jan 29, 2008 8:28 pm

Hi,

I was wondering if there is any page/menu/module level security that Joomla provides.  ???
For instance: certain registered users are allowed only to view/use only some of the menu's/sub-menu's while others might be restricted to it.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Pinc,

Thanks very much for the reply and appreciate you giving me the link.I apologize fro getting back to you quite late.

Unfortunately the discussion in the link was more of to do with registered and un-registered users. What I'am actually looking for is to provide security for menus for different registered users.
???
To explicate I have multiple customers who are registered to my site, I would need one of my customer "A"(registered user) to view only few menus/sub-menus which I configure, however other customers say "B" & "C" can also view this customers "A" 's information(menus) :-[ , since all the users are considered the same (i.e. "Registered").Any help you can provide me with this is greatlly appreciated.
:)
Thanks again.
