Godaddy.com Hosting, HTTPS redirect of HTTP site.

Post by vyndicator » Sun Mar 02, 2008 11:15 pm

Hi, thanks in advance for taking time to read my first post on Joomla. I read the article:

http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f ... t#p1038134

It's posted as solved, however, to someone who is new to Apache and Joomla in general I must have overlooked something in the following code:

SSLOptions +StrictRequire
SSLRequireSSL
SSLRequire %{HTTP_HOST} eq "askapache.com"
ErrorDocument 403 https://askapache.com

I've tried implementing it in my .htaccess file and even followed the link to Askapache.com for help. Assume I have a default extraction of Joomla 1.5 and setup. What changes do I need to make? Accessing the site via http://sitename.com and https://sitename.com works, so the SSL cert is functional.

Could use some help, thanks.
