User name "mainaadmin"

I have two Joomla sites (1.7) that I hired contractors to build for me. One of them has recently been blocked by Google Chrome with the message "The Website Ahead Contains Malware!". Internet Explorer does not give any warning.

I think I may have found the source of the problem. A user with a .ru email address registered and gave themselves the user name "mainaadmin".

Would that user name allow them access to inject malicious code?

the fact you are running an obsolete, out of date, exploitable version of joomla could enable anyone to infect your site. IE is not a reputable malware finder.
