CSS stopped working on site?

Hello, I am a web designer and I usually use Wordpress to design my sites but I have recently had a request from a client who used Joomla to design their site probably 5 years ago and the CSS has stopped working. Here is the site:

Is this due to a Joomla update? Anyone else having this problem? How can I fix it?

My anti-virus is showing this as a malicious site, so I would hazard a guess that the site has not been updated and as a result was hacked, with a redirect script.

your site shows as <meta name="generator" content="Joomla! 1.5 - Open Source Content Management" />
several extensions on there had previous exploits, eg aicontactsafe

i cant verify what actual version of joomla 1.5 you have but the admin panel would show that.


ahhh - found it. welcome to the stat hacked club.

a temporary fix is to remove those 2 lines from your template/index.php files and remove the stat83 file (and any others in that folder of a similar name)
then follow
viewtopic.php?f=714&t=946026
run and post the results from viewtopic.php?f=714&t=793531

Also be sure to check for the file /modules/mod_stats/statefa.php. We typically see this in the hack. You should check this directory '/modules/mod_stats/' thoroughly.

I am having a hard time locating the file with the 2 lines

Where do I find this? I checked the index.php files and I can't find the stat83 files?? Can I have more information?? Thank you!
