Problem with the editing functionality of the front - end .

Post by unclearbit » Tue Nov 13, 2007 11:39 am

Greetings to all !

I have installed a Joomla 1.5 beta .

My problem is when I login as a publisher and try to edit a static-content article
from within the front-end the web page never appears.

I just get a white page with nothing on it , not even the source code.

Has anyone else experienced this ? Is this a problem of the 1.5 Beta ?

Thank you in advance !

Kind Regards
John

It is suggested you test a nightly build.

Beta is quite old.

Thank you Jean .

The problem is that I might need db changes as well and that is not a good option.

There is NO other option...
You can't stay with a beta filled of bugs for ever.
BTW, is it one of the older betas or RC3?
If RC3, the db changes are minimal and have no impact on what you already entered.

Unfortunately it is Beta 2,I think, not RC3 .

ok, I will check your solution and see what happens. After all there is always the back up option .

Thank you for your advices.

Take care
