linking to particular section on a page

linking to particular section on a page

I've two pages. the one page is a list of topics. on another page are paragraphs pertaining to each topic. I'm trying to link each topic from the one page to it's corresponding paragraph on another page so when the link is selected it not only links to the page but the particular paragraph in a page. does Joomla do this?

You may find using JCE Editor will help you here.

On the page you want to link TO in the place you want to land put an anchor with a meaningful name.

On the page you want to link FROM create a link to the anchor. yourpage.html#anchor
