Altering Virtuemart's Price Display

Hello,

I am working on a virtuemart site for a client and they are spazzing because the price display is hard to read. It puts a space without comma in between prices. IE. $1,599.00. Is displayed CND1 599. People are thinking the products are just $599 instead of 1599. I've poked about in the Virtuemart folders and can't seem to find the bit of text I need to edit. Anyone got any ideas?  ???

Here is a link to the page: http://www.sturbaindesigns.com/riseup/index.php

Thanks!

hi,
you have to change the format of {product_price} in this file:  browse_1.php (administrator/components/com_virtuemart/html/browse)

( or browse_X if you have changed parameters in VM main configuration )

I had this problem too.. I solved it this way: go to "edit shop" and put a &nbsp before and/or behind the curruncy symbol, like this:
 €
that did the trick for me  8)

My clients complained about this too! Thankfully, in Edit Store, there is a Thousands Separator option.
