iFrame in Category description

Post by AidyMusic » Sun Jan 01, 2012 7:06 pm

Hi, I followed a couple of other guides and I can now embed [youtube], [URL not permitted] etc.. into my articles by changing my permissions and making a change to TINY.

However, I am still unable to put iframes in the category descriptions. They're added okay initially but then they're stripped out upon clicking save. Anyone know how to sort this one?

Cheers
Aidy :-)

Try to set Editor to "No Editor". I no longer remember how it worked in J1.0.

I have to use JCE Editor for several years and they have IFrame plugin to handle iframes content http://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/downloads/plugins
