Template is not apearing on homepage

i am having a similar problem with Joomla 3
i have installed a template and it is not appearing on my homepage.
i feel that my template & home page are not attached

Steps:
1-Installed the template
2-uploaded it on Cpanel
3-went to joomla/extension manage/install from directory
4-template manage and published my new template as default

After follwing these 4 steps i went to my website and nothing appeared nothing had been changed and the template had not been updated to my website

P.S: the template i am using is a free template from beautiful-templates.com

Clear your browser's cache and test.

- clear joomla cache
- check in menu home page, you can see drop down assign template..... check and you use template that you want?
