Joomla template header height increase

I'm updating my clients joomla website. I did not make this website for her. It's joomla 1.5.20. Her template is yoo_blueprint. I need to increase the height of the header of the template to allow for a bigger logo to fit in there, but the css is not changing anything. Can anyone assist? it has absolute positioning so you will have to increase the height of the header div and change the top position of edit the background images to match the height.

However you should definitely update joomla coz 1.5 is very very old.
