Re: Plugin for [youtube] videos
Hi! I seem to be the only one who doesn't know where to get the [youtube] ID for my video when using Plugin for [youtube] Videos. Search yielded no results. While looking for it I found that I can just paste the HTML code for my video into my article and I can see my video. All the same I would like to try the plugin and hope somebody tells me where to get the [youtube] ID for my video
Thank you
Thank you

Re: Plugin for [youtube] videos
Hi,
I am using your plugin on a project I'm actually developping. Thank you very much, it works well and it is easy to use.
Is there a way to overide the plugin settings for a single videos using something like {[youtube] color1="#123456"}{/[youtube]} ?
If it is not possible, please make it a suggestion if you plan any further development. I'm sure many other people will also request that feature!
Thanks again!

Re: Plugin for [youtube] videos
Hi great idea about the [youtube] plugin.Stian wrote:I have just created my first plugin, and it is available at http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/[youtube]/
It's a simple plugin for displaying [youtube] videos in your content items, and can be invoked by adding {[youtube]}xxxxxx{/[youtube]} in the editor, where xxxxxx is the [youtube] ID.
All feedback, tips and tricks is much appreciated!
Best, Stian
I got a problem with it, I've uploaded the plugin into the plugin folder within the joomla but when I go to the plugin manager it does not appear there.
And if I try to use the {[youtube]}videourl{/[youtube]} it shows me the exact line. I pasted this line with the link in the editor and in the html editor but nothing.
Thanks I preciate your help.

Re: Plugin for [youtube] videos
Nice plugin - it works!
To centre the video, make a 1-row, 3-column 100% width table, and put {[youtube]}, etc. in the centre column.
Is there a way to display an error message (either pop-up or on the page) if http://www.[youtube].com is blocked (ie. inacessible) to the user?

Re: Plugin for [youtube] videos
I can't see that this actually got answered. What is the syntax for the optional parameters?wodadog wrote:hi
this is a top plugin
would you be able to explain how to use all the parameters that you have created - width/height, playlists, etc
eg if this is the string to show {[youtube]}xxxxxx{/[youtube]} - where do you add the parameters, and how!
thanks

Re: Plugin for [youtube] videos
Question on the "colour 1" and "colour 2" parameters?
What do these parameters control and what format is used, e.g. 6 digit hex (#FFFFFF)?
Thanks.

Re: Plugin for [youtube] videos
Hi Stian,
I would like to use your plug in but I think I've hit a dead end...
I've tried with various multimedia plugins and the same problem sits...All the plug ins installed successfully but when I try to invoke {[youtube]}xxxx{/[youtube]} via the HTML code and I hit the "update" button, the actual ID of the video remains in the article? When I then go back into the HTML code, the {[youtube]} and {/[youtube]} disappeared and only the xxxx (video ID) remained effectively writing it as plain text in the article...
Any idea?
Im on Joomla 1.5.25
