Removing AcyMailing copyright in FrontEnd

Post by piratuX » Tue Aug 03, 2010 7:55 am

This method is by modifying a CSS file.

In your root folder go to: components/com_acymailing/css

and open:

component_default.css

on line 95 you have this code:

div.acymailing_footer{
padding-top : 20px;
font-size : 10px;
}

change this code with this one:

div.acymailing_footer{
padding-top : 20px;
font-size : 10px;
display: none;
}

What this code does?

display:none; is telling to the browser to not display the div called acymailing_footer.

Your done!
Happy Joomla!

:D

I read what you have said about that subject.
I look for the file component_default.css, but in the line 95 I have that:
th.titlelink, th.titleorder{

width:100px;

white-space: nowrap;

}
The version is 1.5.0 from 18Aug2010
What can I do to remove the link?
Thanks for any help :p

In the latest version of AcyMailing, you will find an option to remove the footer in the configuration page, tab "interfaces" (at the bottom of the page).
You will find this option in all versions... even the free one!

I have only one doubt... to make the upgrade to the new free version, I need to unistall the previous one, ore simply install the new version...

Just install the new version without uninstalling the current one, you won't loose any data.
AcyMailing uses the standard Joomla update method.

thnaks for your answer
well I,m from Portugal and I want to put everything that the site shows, in portuguese, including some messages of AcyMailing...
I have installed the PT language and all goes weel, except this:

Subscrição
Subscrever Mailing
Não Sim Newsletters
Receive our latest news

how can I do this? the component don't allow me to put in 777, only 755, so I can't modify nothing, I think...

Go on your list manager in AcyMailing, you can modify the name and the description of your lists...
The "Receive our latest news" is the default list description but you can change it as you want.

You don't have to modify a file for that.
