MobileJoomla Issue

Post by alexmishka » Sun Feb 25, 2018 5:45 pm

Hello!

I have website edcpro.org on Joomla 1.5 with VirtueMart 1.1.9 and SH404Sef and latest version of MobileJoomla installed with default mobile_basic template enabled.

Issue:

If you go from mobile phone to mobile version http://edcpro.org/?device=mobile and switch to desktop version http://edcpro.org/?device=desktop then try to add to cart (order), user registration, login and search it will not work - it just redirecting you to homepage without any error. I tried to disable sh404sef but still not working. I assume it is related to parameter ?device= which adding to all urls of website after switching from mobile to desktop, all forms (<form actions="") stop working. I need to know how to fix it? Please help.

Do you mean that you have installed https://extensions.joomla.org/extension ... ay/mobile/ on your J! 1.5 website?

For your information:

1) J! 1.5 is outdated and unsupported. J! 1.5 reached end of life five years ago; it's probably time to move on and migrate your website to a supported version of Joomla.

2) The extension you refer to is for J! 3.x. Extensions developed for J! 3.x are incompatible with J! 1.5 (and vice versa); they just won't work. The listing for Mobile Joomla! was last updated on the JED two years ago; you may want to contact the author of the extension to see if it still works but this "latest" version will not work with J! 1.5.
