Please Help!!!

In a short word, am a joomla novice i.e I just start learning what its all about. I get it installed on my site but don't know how to edit my home page and other pages to reflect or bring about the concept of content management. Please how do I go about doing this.

How do I design my web site from this point(having installed Joomla on my site). The version I installed is 1.0.11
