Thanks gantenx!
How do I upgrade to the new version; are there specific files to upgrade?

I checked all the contest-templates and like Bicolor best. It's not overdone, it's clean and adaptable.
I created 25 different colorstyles; 25 different params.ini:

What I miss is a handy way to change between colors, by just clicking in template manager; allthough the possibility to change colors manually are unlimmited!
Is there a way to share colorschemes? Or export an adapted template?
Where can I change the color of the light yellow and blue content boxes?

Good luck with the contest!

Wow, that's great.  ;) Thanx for your interest in bicolor, MewTwo. The fastest way to update bicolor is delete the old template and replace it with a new one.

If you use control panel, first change default template to other template, then uninstall bicolor. Then install bicolor and set it as default template.  :)

Until now, i don't have any idea to export template settings if only using Joomla! template parameters. I think it should use external scripts.

You can change the light yellow and blue through template setting in control panel. Check out 'Left Column' and 'Right Column' setting. These settings will affect popular and latest news modules.

Oh yeah, if you update manually, don't forget to copy the language file.  :)

Found bug : Component layout broken up if top module exists and right module doesn't exist.

Now fixed in version 1.4.8. Download it here.

Hi sorn38,

This is the Slogan.
You can edit it at the Backend --> Extensions --> Template Manager --> Bicolor
At the lower right you can change the Slogan in anything you like, or leave it blank.

Hi,

Since i made this template, i just realize something that is 'silly'. May be you all know the 'Vertical Menu' I wrote in bicolor. Yup, it should be 'Horizontal Menu'. ;D

Sorry for this. I will fix it in next version.

Can you also make the logo 'no-repeat'?

This is a great template, I love it!

One remark though: on some pages the content title is missing. For example on:
http://www.biopharmaca.net/demo/index.p ... &Itemid=28

I noticed that by changing the color of the left column, often the right column is affected as well. I don't now why this happens, but it happens when I change the left-column color using the template manager at the back end. The right column gets the same color; it doesn't matter if there is content in the right column.
Haven't tried it directly in params.ini yet and it's not allways happening.
I noticed it when I wanted to update my different params.ini (see my post november 4th) with matching column colors. Sometimes it works out fine, sometimes however the left column color 'takes over'.

edit: I've tried it by changing directly in params.ini. The result is the same.

We are sorry. The page you were looking for no longer exists. We redesigned our site and many of the pages have changed."  :(

Yup. I removed the example site because it uses significant traffic.  :)

Hi all,

Firstly, thanks to the author for a lovely template.

I've been playing around with it, trying to teach myself the basics of Joomla! and a little CSS as I go along so on a very steep learning curve here!

My question that probably has a really obvious answer is this:

Which value do I change in the CSS to adjust the leading (line spacing/paragraph spacing) in the text of the sections such as "We Are Volunteers", "Stick to the Code!" etc? I've tried adjusting line-height values under body and .mceContentBody, but while they do effect change for me it's just not on the desired area.

I'm sorry if I'm not using the correct technical Joomla! terms, but give me a week or two and I'm sure I'll get there. ;)

Anyway, enough burning the midnight oil, will check back tomorrow to see if there's an answer.

Jules.

Try adding :

#middlebar {
line-height: 1.5em; /* or other desired values */
}

in CSS file.

I'm so sorry, but I don't have the PHPBB version. Currently, I have Joomla and Drupal version only.
Btw, thanks for your interests.. :)
