Re: Recommended must-have extensions?
Surely the most important extension you must have is Akeeba Backup...
The fact that an opinion is widely held is no evidence whatsoever that it is not utterly absurd.

Re: Recommended must-have extensions?
To complement, you also need a sitemap.
Some options are OSMap and JSitemap.

Please don't start a dog poo topic.
You will never get a decent answer unless its how to up your post count.
I don't use any of those security extensions or rate them as a must have.
Only 2 sites have site map and we could spend 2 months debating if site maps are worthwhile when everything is linked and botted.
Usually my sites must have
A download extension
A gallery
A flexible contact form
Captcha and occasional adsence
My admin login is htpass protected.

Wow, sorry, I thought this was a relaxed section, and whereas other posts are completely off topic, this one isn't. Thanks for your kind reply, by the way.mandville wrote: ↑Thu Jan 21, 2021 5:24 pmPlease don't start a dog poo topic.

Re: Recommended must-have extensions?
Thanks! Definitely: anything security and sitemap and others suggested. Akeeba backup is one to swear by already. I would also add JCE editor, the free version seems good enough.mjparadac wrote: ↑Thu Jan 21, 2021 2:48 pmThird-party extensions for security on your website powered by Joomla!:

Not sure why you quoted my whole post.
Anyway. You asked and people responded.
Others will tell you they must have virtue mart or easy blog or snow flakes on their screen.
It seems you don't understand what a dog poo topic is.
