Content Block on Safari iPhone

Post by loste » Thu Jun 24, 2021 11:06 am

Hi, this problem drives me crazy and I hope to find some useful hints here !!!
This is the situation...
When I try to view my website on my iPhone with Safari Browser, the images and css parts are blocked.
To see it correctly, I have to go to my phone settings and disable "Content Blocking"
But this problem does not arise if I use the Chrome browser on iPhone.

I tried to disable all tracking scripts (analytics, Facebook ect) but the problem remains.

Can someone help me?

Thanks in advance
S.

Hi. I think you need to google, what is the content blocker in Safari and what rules it uses. And build your website so that objects would not come into line with these rules.
On the example of AD Block: If your image has the name "banner", then such an image will be blocked, since "banner" is a trigger word to enable blocking.

Maybe you can try the following suggestions.
Upgrade your safari browser, or turn off applications such as adblock, or use other browser applications such as google chrome, mozilla firefox, or opera mobile.

Also try with another browser on iphone. Try safari on a laptop.

Hi @erwinthedevil and @Webdongle. It seems you do not read what TS writes and do not understand the essence of the problem
Why do you advise him to use another browser, because he wrote it already used? With the same success, you could suggest hanging on the site Announcement for all users Safari switches to another browser. :D

@Pavel-ww
My point is to try different combinations in order pinpoint if it is something on the iphone or in Safari or a combination of both that is causing the problem.

Thanks to All for your help. I've try to uninstall all apps , and now it works fine. But My doubt remain... why with safari browser the contents were blocked but not with other app-browser?
