Joomla is a class act

Post by mkj2024 » Sun Feb 18, 2024 2:43 pm

I haven't used Joomla for years, but I thought to give it a try once again.

Let's cut to the chase.

Excellent. It is a no nonsense CMS that delivers.

Well done to all who have contributed.

couldn't agree more, it's definitely a no nonsense CMS, been using it for a long time and it's still the best.

Agreed, I have well settled into Joomla even from the very early days. I recall using Mambo but not quite understanding it before Joomla was forked from Mambo, and I settled into J1.5 onwards.

I switched from XOOPS in 2013 with J3.0.3 I think. Been here ever since :)

It was the integrated articles functionality that drew me. Much better than having to install a separate component with the maintenance overhead that that brought.

The support in the forum that drew me, especially the security.
