My Resignation
It is with deep regret that I must inform you of my need to resign from the Joomla Project.
After years of contributing with Joomla, I have an opportunity to work for concrete5 as a Technology Evangelist. It would clearly be a conflict of interest to try to contribute to both. So, I must sadly step down from my throne in the pursuits of making money doing the thing I love most - working in open source.
It's been awesome. I love all the work we did together.
I value the time I have spent with you guys/girls, and the lifelong friends I have made. Contributing to Joomla has taught me valuable lessons about open source and gave me the experience needed for my new career, for this I am very grateful.
Thank you for your continued support and guidance. I will be happy to do whatever I can to make this transition as easy as possible.

Re: My Resignation
Thanks a lot for all your hard work, Jess. You stepped up in some tough circumstances, and you made Joomla better in a lot of ways.
You also had the courage to speak up for things you believed in, sometimes in the face of criticism. That's something Joomla needs more of.
Best success to you with Concrete5!

Re: My Resignation
Thanks for all your valuable contributions to multiple areas of the Joomla! project Jessica.
It is great to see how your giving and sharing to an Open Source project has turned into a new adventure of your professional career. Even better that it still has to do with Open Source software.
I wish you all the best and good luck with this exciting new challenge of yours

Re: My Resignation
Thank you very much, Jessica!
I hope to once see a presentation or blogpost by you what Joomla can learn from Concrete5. That could be interesting and inspiring.
