č (slovenian) is not displayed instead I get a ?

Post by Ela72 » Tue Sep 27, 2011 6:39 am

I am actually integrating a slovenian translation in my page. Unfortunately the slovenian č is not displayed. Other slovenian characters are displayed.

I am using Joomla 1.5.23 and the JCE editor. I installed the slovenian language pack.
In my database I converted all tables into utf8_general_ci (before it was utf8_swedish_ci) and in the template I added this line: <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />

Anyone an idea or hint what else do do?

Found out that also the lines in the tables and not only the tables had to be formatted in utf8_general_ci. Now it is working.
