Please describe a precise example of what you need to achieve.

Thanks for the response infograf768!!

Here are some examples of urls with special characters that need to be redirected.

http://www.bodylogicmd.com/physician-di ... itstart=20
http://www.bodylogicmd.com/faq/why-do-m ... sterone-re..
http://www.bodylogicmd.com/Adrenal-Fatigue%20Sponsored

I need to figure out how I can redirect urls that contain characters like: %, ?, =,...

Any ideas?

To what shall they be redirected?
the second one is in fact
http://www.bodylogicmd.com/faq/why-do-m ... eplacement
the third one is
http://www.bodylogicmd.com/for-women/adrenal-fatigue

Are these Joomla generated urls?

They will just be redirected to the appropriate SEF-freindly url. i.e. http://www.bodylogicmd.com/for-women/ha.. should be redirected to http://bodylogicmd.com/for-women/hair-loss

In my most recent webmaster's tools crawl report, I noticed that there are MANY (200+) urls that contain special characters.

For some reason the second one (http://www.bodylogicmd.com/faq/why-do-m ... eplacement) is now being redirected properly.

The third one SHOULD be http://www.bodylogicmd.com/for-women/adrenal-fatigue but when I enter Adrenal-Fatigue%20Sponsored in the "redirected from" field and in the "redirected to" field I entered "for-women/adrenal-fatigue" but it's not redirecting the bad url.

Please pardon my ignorance, I'm new to this stuff :)

%20 is a space not a dash

Btw, Are you using Joomla 1.7?
If yes, this is not the right forum.
