Regelmatig FastCGI Error

Ik krijg regelmatig de onderstaande melding. Weet iemand of dit door een bepaalde php instelling wordt veroorzaakt.

FastCGI Error
The FastCGI Handler was unable to process the request.

Error Details:
• The FastCGI process exceeded configured activity timeout
• Error Number: 258 (0x80070102).
• Error Description: The wait operation timed out.

misschien kan je dit beter naar de provider sturen

Tja, die verwacht dat ik het zelf oplos via het forum. Ik denk zelf dat dit te maken heeft met de webserver. Op Apache heb ik dit probleem nooit. Mijn provider gebruikt IIS.

dan maar overstappen naar een Linux bak.. lijkt mij ook veel beter om PHP op te draaien :-)

Lijkt een grijs gebied. Via Google kom ik ook niet veel verder.

Hi,

I am seeing this error on installing components.

I am running Joomla 1.5 and I have tried installing from remote (browse to my machine), and local (tmp dir on server) and I get this error all of the time.

FastCGI Error

I have tried the fix above and several other fixes for joomla - I also got the server admin to increase the timeout to 900 (not sure which timeout he adjusted ).

Any help appreciated.
