Need help with Greek letters transliteration

Post by Sulpher » Mon Jan 31, 2011 6:54 pm

Good day, Greek community!
First of all, I beg a pardon for writing in English,
I'd like to prepare a transliteration table from Greek to Latin letter.
Using Wikipedia and other resources, I could collect the information and have prepared next table:

Α,α,Β,β,Γ,γ,Δ,δ,Ε,ε,Ζ,ζ,Η,η,Θ,θ,Ι,ι,Κ,κ,Λ,λ,Μ,μ,Ν,ν,Ξ,ξ,Ο,ο,Π,π,Ρ,ρ,Σ,σ,Τ,τ,Υ,υ,Φ,φ,Χ,χ,Ψ,ψ,Ω,ω
A,a,B,b,G,g,D,d,E,e,Z,z,E,e,TH,th,I,i,K,k,L,l,M,m,N,n,X,x,O,o,P,p,R,r,S,s,T,t,U,u,F,f,CH,ch,PS,ps,O,o

So, I took the sentense Welcome to Joomla and using google translator I got this:
Καλώς ήλθατε στο Joomla

Well, using my transliterate method, I got this:
Kal lthate sto Joomla

Well, I don't know Greek at all, but Ihave noticed that original word Καλώς has no last two symbols in transliterated word Kal.
Well, letters ώς are out of my unicode table. Well, I copy ς letter and try to search for this letter within my table, so word processor find this letter Σ - what is a strange since it looks like another letter.
Well, could anybody help me with Greek transliteration table, please? I'd like to use it within SEF mode of the website.
Thanks in advance!

Best regards,
Eugene.
