Log In Module Feature Request

A feature I would really like to see is with the Log-In module - at the moment anyone who is registered on my Joomla site can log-in and have various access levels and permissions around the site.

As I have different clients who want to be able to see daily progress on their projects, what would be an excellent addition is the ability for clients to log-in and be 'directed' to a specific web folder or directory on the Joomla site (set by site administrator). This way I can control which files they can access and also leaves the rest of my site secure. It also means I don't have to take time out of my day to update clients on progress as they can just log on and see for themselves.

I can code this with Dreamweaver and PHP very easily (not sure how to integrate it into my Joomla site tho) and would be great to see it in Joomla as an integrated feature.
