The situation/problem i simple... Many many articles (could be news) are shown in the large list. When something is archived it is not removed from the list but still shown. It's not even moved to the bottom but stays the same place. There is not a sort feature that shows both published/disabled content but NOT the archived. Also it's not fun to sort every time you enter backend.
In other words when I archive something I would persume that is removed from my sight (as in a real archive). My suggestion is to add a button called "archived articles" where one can go to bring it back and thereby not show it in the "article manager"!
