Thank you for this post. I am today sitting on the fence trying to decide which way to go. I just paid someone to move my wordpress site to joomla because wordpress doesn't allow you to move articles and categories around like joomla.

But today I am discovering joomla doesn't do trackbacks and pingbacks, which is absolutely necessary in the blogging world, which I am entering.

From what I see in the blogging world, joomla is at a vulnerable point in its evolution here. The net is becoming more and more integrated and interactive, and joomla needs to move forward if it hopes to move forward.

Tamka testing downloads now available

Post by kenmcd » Wed Apr 08, 2009 9:34 pm

.
A few days ago the Tamka "beta" (or alpha) downloads were made publicly accessible.

Download Tamka beta files here: http://upgrade.tamka.org/

There are a few extensions in the SVN which are still not in the Packages.

This is not an official beta release by the Tamka team.
Test at your own risk.
Installing this on anything other than your own Tamka testing website is nuts.
I would view these files as a preview for playing and exploring.
